Melody Brahma Mani Sharma Says His Best is Yet to Come!
Musical Director Mani Sharma talks about his musical journey of 20 years, ever since he had made his debut in the Telugu film industry. Till date, this God or Brahma of Melody as he is known has worked upon memorable tunes on more than 200 Telugu and Tamil pictures respectively. He has even composed music for a few of the super hits in these productive years.
Engrossed in his beautiful and harmonious works, Mr. Sharma didn’t realize that he has completed 20 years in the cinema industry until someone recently reminded him. He talks about his qualities and mentions that he is good with melodious tunes, however, he still feels that his best is yet to come in a recent interview with him.
The early 2000s had seen him rise up in the Tollywood world for several years, but some other upcoming, talented and young musical directors later ruled the roost. Mani Sharma added that he has no regrets maybe the filmmakers weren’t too impressed with his kind of music hence they were looking for other options. Saying this he concludes that he understands what sort of melodic song works for which actor and once he is mentally well-prepared, he shall not listen to anybody.
The avatar of melody, Mani Sharma said that he had worked closely with Illayaraja and also SP Balasubrahmanyam, whom he considers as his mentor. The controversy in between the two famous artists is something that only they can solve and no 3rd person has any right to intervene.
Mani Sharma further says that currently, he is busy with 3 films on his work table. Ami Tumi has some of the amazing songs and once again these tracks are based on the different ragas. Next, he says there is LIE with Hanu Raghavapudi and Aarudugula Bullet with B Gopal on board.
